Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Superhero 5K
Big Message, Bigger Mission
To increase visibility and participation for the annual Superhero 5K, CASA partnered with The Orb Web to create a bold, high-impact billboard. The event raises awareness and critical funds for CASA’s advocacy work supporting children in foster care. The billboard needed to quickly capture attention, spark curiosity, and deliver clear event details—all within a few seconds of drive-by viewing.
We approached the design with simplicity, clarity, and energy in mind. The billboard features dynamic, superhero-inspired visuals paired with concise, high-contrast messaging. Typography was scaled for maximum legibility, and the color palette drew from CASA’s brand while adding vibrance to stand out in a busy visual landscape. The layout emphasized the event name, date, and call to action, ensuring that even a quick glance could communicate the essentials. We provided final files to the media vendor with correct sizing and bleed specifications.
The billboard served as a powerful visual anchor in the campaign, helping raise awareness and build community excitement ahead of race day. Positioned along high-traffic corridors, it brought visibility to CASA’s mission and encouraged public involvement in a way that felt joyful and purposeful. The campaign further solidified the Superhero 5K as a celebrated local tradition tied to a meaningful cause.
