Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Superhero 5K

Amplifying Voices, One Step at a Time

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) needed a high-visibility event poster to promote their annual Superhero 5K—an energetic, family-friendly fundraiser that supports advocacy for children in foster care. Designed for display at prominent outdoor shopping and dining centers, the poster had to stand out in busy environments, clearly communicate key event details, and evoke a sense of excitement, purpose, and community.

The Orb Web created a bold, engaging large-format poster inspired by the theme of everyday heroism. The design used vibrant color, playful illustration, and strong typography to balance joyful energy with the seriousness of CASA’s mission. The layout was built for legibility from a distance, with a clear visual hierarchy that guided viewers through date, time, location, and how to get involved. We also coordinated print vendor selection and material specs to ensure durability in public display environments.

The final poster became a strong public-facing piece that helped build awareness and participation for CASA’s Superhero 5K. Positioned in high-traffic areas like Park Place and Mission Farms, the design attracted attention from passersby while reinforcing CASA’s message of standing up for children. It served not just as event promotion, but as a reminder of the real heroes the event supports.
