Meadowbrook Park Construction Fencing Project

As Meadowbrook Park transformed from a private country club into one of Johnson County’s most expansive and inclusive public spaces, one challenge stood out: how do you build excitement, share a vision, and engage the community when everything is still behind a construction fence?

The Orb Web was brought in to design a series of custom large-format fence panels that turned the site’s perimeter into a public storytelling space. These panels were created to do more than inform. They offered a preview of what was coming and helped people feel part of the journey.

The construction fencing around Meadowbrook Park became an unexpected point of pride. Residents stopped to read. Children pointed with excitement. Curiosity about the future of the park turned into genuine community engagement. Long before the park officially opened, people had already begun to gather around its story.
