Graphic Design, Annual Report

Missouri River Relief

Built for Peace, Designed for Presence

Missouri River Relief approached The Orb Web to design their latest annual report with a goal of honoring their mission while evolving their visual identity. The scope included full report design for both print and digital formats, a refined brand color palette, and updated graphic elements that could carry forward into future communications. The report needed to function as both a narrative document and a data-driven snapshot of the organization’s impact.

We began by exploring the natural visual language of the river. Fluid lines, sediment layers, and seasonal color shifts informed a refreshed palette that felt organic and grounded. Graphic elements were upgraded to improve legibility and rhythm throughout the report, supporting the storytelling experience without overwhelming it. We created a flexible visual system that highlighted key data, layered photography with narrative flow, and brought consistency to headers, callouts, and thematic dividers.

The result was a modern, visually cohesive annual report that honored Missouri River Relief’s community-driven work while bringing a renewed sense of clarity and depth to the brand. The updated design strengthened their identity across both print and digital platforms, and the refreshed palette and graphic system now serve as enduring tools for future communication.
